The staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. They made my stay much more enjoyable and comfortable. The location of the hostel was fantastic, providing easy access to key attractions and amenities. the rooms were clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The breakfast options were a bit limited, consisting mainly of cereal and milk. It would have been nice to have more variety.

The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, always ready to solve any issues. the reception was open 24 hours, which made check-in easy no matter what time I arrived. the location was great, with good logistics by public transport and only a 30-minute walk from the nearest station. the free Wi-Fi worked great and there was a small buffet for breakfast, saving me the hassle of finding a cafe in the morning.
The linens provided were made of synthetic material, which made sleeping uncomfortable, especially in the hot weather. the dorm room I stayed in faced a busy street, resulting in a lot of noise that made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

We had a great experience staying at Casa Barcelo! the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. the beds were comfortable and clean, with charging points conveniently located next to each bed. the large lockers provided ample storage space. the included breakfast was a nice practical touch, and we loved being able to enjoy it on the beautiful garden patio. the location is fantastic, with the metro, buses, and plenty of great restaurants just a short walk away. the lockable drawer under the bed was also a useful feature for added security and convenience.
We highly recommend staying at Casa Barcelo for a wonderful hostel experience. Cons: Nothing to fault!

The location of this place was absolutely fantastic - right in the heart of the city! We were able to easily walk to all the main attractions and shopping areas. Plus, the free breakfast provided was a great bonus. They had a variety of options like cereals, bread, and juice. Lastly, the common areas were cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.
There were a few things that we didn't like about this place. the beds were incredibly uncomfortable.

The location of the hostel is excellent, with a main metro station just a short walk away. It is also conveniently located near many restaurants, making it easy to find a variety of dining options. there are major bus routes nearby, allowing for easy exploring of the city.
Only one negative aspect was that the bathrooms were not well maintained, with some issues such as running out of toilet paper and not being cleaned regularly.

The location was perfect, with a 24h supermarket just across the road for convenience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to provide recommendations and assistance. The hostel was clean and cosy, with all the necessary amenities and utensils available. I loved the comfortable living room, with good music or a movie playing and a selection of books to read. The lovely balconies were a great spot to enjoy a meal or relax. it was a very pleasant experience.
I did find some accumulated dust between my bed and the wall, which was a bit disappointing. the bed linens were synthetic and not cotton, which made the nights quite uncomfortable as it was hot in the city.

The staff at Casa Barcelo, particularly Carmella, Fernando, and Adrian, were incredibly friendly and helpful during my stay. They went above and beyond to assist me with my luggage, provide information about Barcelona, and make me feel welcomed. The location of the hostel is perfect, with easy access to all major sites and transportation options. The facilities were comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the nice garden and dining area. The unlimited coffee, fruits, and bread were a nice touch. my experience at Casa Barcelo was fantastic and I would highly recommend it.
Although there were some minor drawbacks, such as a broken window pane in my room and limited hooks in the showers, they were easily overlooked given the overall positive experience at the hostel.

We loved the comfortable beds in our mixed dorm room at Casa Barcelo. The blankets provided were perfect, keeping us nice and toasty throughout our stay. The USB and plug sockets next to each bed were also super convenient. The staff at reception were helpful and available 24/7, making our experience even better. The common areas were cozy and the free breakfast had a good selection, although it would be nice if it started a bit earlier. The location of the hostel was great, within walking distance to some tourist attractions and with excellent public transport connections. we had a pleasant stay at Casa Barcelo and would recommend it to others.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
